Wagler's Macaw

The Blue-throated Macaw lives in the savanna of the Beni Department of Bolivia, nesting in Islas of palm trees that dot the level plains. It is not a forest dwelling bird.

The Wagler's Macaw is classified as Critically Endangered (CR), facing an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild.
