Sunda Hawk-Eagle

An Indonesian endemic, the Flores Hawk-eagle is distributed in lowland and submontane forests of Flores, Lombok and Sumbawa of Lesser Sunda Islands group. The diet consists mainly of birds, lizards, snakes and mammals.

The Sunda Hawk-Eagle is classified as Critically Endangered (CR), facing an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild.
